The curtain has officially closed on the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games I 2025, a thrilling showcase of youthful talent, determination, and sportsmanship that unfolded at the vibrant Bukedea Comprehensive Stadium. Over several days, hundreds of student-athletes from across Uganda battled for glory in various disciplines including handball, volleyball, hockey, tennis, badminton, table tennis, rugby, basketball, netball, and football.

 

This year’s edition highlighted not only individual brilliance but also school dominance in certain sports, with schools like Kibuli SS, Bukedea Comprehensive, and St. Mary’s Kitende asserting their prowess across multiple categories. The tournament also celebrated female athletes who showed exceptional skill and determination in traditionally male-dominated sports such as rugby and hockey.
