With the title race heating up and teams battling for survival, this round promises intense action, with key games influencing both ends of the table.

Thursday, March 6, 2025: The Battle for Supremacy Begins 

The matchday kicks off with three fixtures, featuring top contenders Vipers SC, Kitara FC, and Express FC all playing away from home.

Police FC vs Vipers SC (Kavumba Recreation Ground, 4:00 PM - Live on FUFA TV & Sanyuka Prime TV)

Table leaders Vipers SC travel to Kavumba to take on 13th-placed

in what promises to be a high-stakes encounter. The Venoms secured a narrow 2-1 win in the reverse fixture at St. Mary’s Kitende, but they now face a desperate Police side aiming to end a prolonged winless run.

Vipers, currently on 43 points, will extend their lead at the top to six points with a victory, putting pressure on second-placed NEC FC, who play on Friday. Meanwhile, Police FC, struggling near the relegation zone, will seek to widen the gap between themselves and the drop zone with a crucial three points.

Lugazi FC vs Express FC (Lugazi FC Stadium, 4:00 PM)

Lugazi FC, making their debut in the top flight, will be looking to complete a historic season double over seven-time champions Express FC. In the first round, Lugazi stunned Express with a shock victory at Nakivubo for their first win of the campaign.

Currently, Lugazi sits 11th with 20 points, and with just two home defeats all season, they will fancy their chances against an Express side looking to break into the top three. Express FC, fresh from a 4-1 thrashing of Wakiso Giants, are 5th with 28 points and will be aiming to build momentum in their pursuit of a strong finish.

BUL FC vs Kitara FC (Hamz Stadium, 7:00 PM - Live on Sanyuka Prime TV)

The late kick-off pits BUL FC against Kitara FC at the newly renovated Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, in a clash of two of the league’s most in-form sides.

BUL, 3rd with 29 points, edged the reverse fixture in Butema and will be looking to complete a double over Kitara.

The visitors, just a point behind in 4th place (28 points), will be seeking revenge and an opportunity to close the gap on the title challengers.
