Enatu Simon Joins Arua City Mayoral Race, Vows to Unite and Transform the City into Eastern Africa’s Trade Hub

Enatu Simon has officially entered the race for Mayor of Arua City by picking nomination forms from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) secretariat in Kampala, setting the stage for what promises to be a transformative campaign.

“Our people are living in poverty, our schools are lagging behind in performance, and the health sector remains weak,” Enatu told journalists shortly after completing the nomination process.

“But beyond these challenges, Arua has the potential to become the commercial heartbeat of Eastern Africa. With the right leadership, we can build strong partnerships and open our city to regional and cross-border trade.”

Enatu’s plan emphasizes unity among the people of Arua regardless of their political or ethnic background. He believes that healing social divisions is the first step toward collective progress and building a city that serves everyone equally.

If elected, Enatu pledges to prioritize investment in public services, modernize local markets, strengthen access to healthcare, and work closely with the central government to boost infrastructure and education.
